Mumbai declares holiday due to heavy rains
Mumbai's schools and colleges were declared closed on July 6 by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in response to heavy rainfall. The decision was made to ensure the safety of students amidst the adverse weather conditions. An advisory was also issued by the BMC.
