Centre directs Telegram to curb pirated content, seeks compliance report

The Indian central government has issued a notice to the messaging platform Telegram, directing it to take action against the circulation of pirated film and Over-The-Top (OTT) content. Telegram has been asked to report on its compliance within 15 days. The government has also warned of potential legal action if the platform fails to address the issue.
