Election Commission Faces Pleas Amidst Bengal Polls; Rajya Sabha Bypolls Announced
During the West Bengal Assembly polls, over 100 pleas were filed against the Election Commission. While the Calcutta High Court recorded 110 such complaints, none were accepted by the courts. Separately, the Election Commission has announced by-elections for three Rajya Sabha seats in West Bengal, scheduled for July 24.
