India's government issues notice to Meta over child sexual abuse content in Instagram ads
The Indian government has ordered Meta, the owner of Instagram, to disable all ads and content promoting or facilitating access to child sexual abuse material. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) demanded a detailed explanation within seven days. This move comes after reports of such content being displayed in Instagram ads.
