Health and movement tracker developed for high-altitude yaks

Scientists have developed an Internet of Things (IoT)-based device to monitor the health and movement of yaks in remote, high-altitude regions. The system aims to address challenges in yak management and track their proximity to international borders, including those with China and Bhutan. This technology could aid in managing livestock in difficult terrains and potentially in border surveillance.
