ED alleges corruption in medical procurement, attaches assets

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged corruption in the procurement of medical equipment and medicines, stating that goods were purchased at inflated rates. The agency claims this resulted in a loss to the government. In connection with the case, the ED has attached assets worth over Rs 24 crore belonging to three officials.
