Tamil Nadu Hikes TASMAC Employee Salaries by 25%

The Tamil Nadu government has announced a 25% salary increase for employees of state-run liquor outlets (TASMAC). This decision, the first revision in 20 years, aims to curb overcharging and corruption. Bar licenses have also been extended by two months, with new conditions regarding the age of entry.
