Elephant Rescued From Well Amidst Local Opposition in Kerala
A wild elephant was rescued after falling into a disused well near Kothamangalam in Kerala. The rescue operation faced opposition from local residents who reportedly did not want the elephant released back into the forest. The elephant sustained injuries from the fall.
