Cloudburst causes destruction in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district
A cloudburst and torrential rains triggered mudslides and flash floods in the Thathri town of Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir. The event led to houses, shops, and vehicles being submerged under debris, and caused the closure of the Doda-Kishtwar national highway at multiple points. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir stated there were no casualties and directed the district administration to expedite relief and restoration efforts.
