IPS Alok Mittal Appointed DG of BPR&D
IPS officer Alok Mittal has been appointed as the Director General of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D). Mittal, who was previously the Director General of Prisons and an Inspector General at the National Investigation Agency (NIA), was also a contender for the Haryana DGP post. The appointment was made by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
