Extreme weather events, including storms, floods, and a landslide, have impacted China. A landslide in Gansu province resulted in 21 deaths, with rescue operations concluding on July 8. Separately, storms and floods in southern and central China have caused at least 15 to 20 fatalities and injured hundreds, leading to the evacuation of approximately 100,000 people. In one instance, floods breached a reservoir, and escaped snakes from a breeding farm added to the disruption.
