Congress internal conflict surfaces in Punjab over leadership
Internal disagreements within the Punjab Congress have become apparent following a visit by Bhupesh Baghel. While Baghel held meetings to address the party's issues, supporters of former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi reportedly kept their distance from these gatherings. A senior Dalit leader within the Congress also criticized the entry of "uncivilized elements" into the party and suggested Baghel was there to teach discipline.
