Film 'Satluj' removed from OTT, sparking controversy and calls for public screening
Diljit Dosanjh's film 'Satluj', based on the life of Jaswant Singh Khalra, was removed from the OTT platform ZEE5, leading to controversy. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has announced public screenings and seminars to support the film, calling its removal an attempt to suppress Khalra's story. Actor Arjun Rampal, who plays a CBI officer in the film, shared his experience meeting Khalra's family. Meanwhile, Union Minister Raneet Singh Bittu accused Dosanjh of making the film with his own money and questioned its funding and his security abroad. The film's director, Honey Trehan, reportedly plans to approach the court against the removal.
