Amarnath Yatra Continues with Over 1.13 Lakh Pilgrims
The Amarnath Yatra is proceeding smoothly, with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reviewing arrangements. As of the latest reports, over 1.13 lakh pilgrims have had darshan of Baba Barfani. On a single day, a record batch of 9,837 pilgrims, comprising the seventh batch, departed from Jammu in 361 vehicles. Another batch of 8,150 pilgrims also left Jammu for the cave shrine. The first six days of the Yatra have seen 28% more pilgrims compared to the same period last year.
