Heavy Rains Cause Flooding and Disruption Across Maharashtra

Heavy monsoon rains have caused significant flooding and disruption in Maharashtra, particularly in Mumbai and surrounding areas. Several roads have become waterlogged, leading to traffic jams and affecting daily life. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai and Thane, forecasting more rainfall. Amidst the downpour, unusual incidents like a six-foot crocodile found near a dargah in Powai and a man dressed as Spiderman helping people in flooded streets have been reported. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway was also affected, appearing like a river due to waterlogging.
