Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike continues amid exam irregularities protest

Activist Sonam Wangchuk is on an 11-day hunger strike as part of a protest by the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister over alleged examination irregularities. Wangchuk has lost over 7 kg during the fast, which has entered its 19th day. The protest, which began on June 20, has seen support from various political leaders and activists, and at least one AISA member has been hospitalized.
