Kerala High Court issues contempt notice to IAS officer over cashew case
The Kerala High Court has issued a contempt notice to IAS officer K. Biju concerning his role in a cashew import scam. The court questioned his continued service and the circumstances surrounding the order for a CBI probe. Separately, the court closed a contempt petition against K. Sudhakaran after his apology for remarks made about the court. The Kerala Chief Minister has also ordered a Crime Branch probe into alleged irregularities in Public Service Commission exams and appointments.
