India successfully tests indigenous Pinaka long-range guided rocket

India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully conducted a flight-test of the Pinaka long-range guided rocket. The test, which involved the rocket executing planned manoeuvres and hitting a designated target with precision, is described as a significant milestone in the country's indigenous defense technology development. The rocket demonstrated a capability for precision strikes at extended ranges, including a user-defined minimum range of 60 km.
