Akali Dal to screen film 'Satluj' across Punjab villages
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced plans to screen the film 'Satluj' in every village across Punjab. The film, previously titled 'Punjab '95', is inspired by the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra and depicts the period of militancy and alleged police atrocities in Punjab during the 1980s and early 1990s. The decision to screen the film widely comes after its removal from the ZEE5 platform.
