Telangana Seeks Reconsideration of DBT Fee Order Amid Controversy
The government of Telangana has sought a vacation of the stay on a fee order related to the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Anna Yojana (DBT) scheme, amid controversy over a misleading report by Deccan Chronicle. The report allegedly defamed Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KTR). The government has issued a defamation notice to Deccan Chronicle in response.
