India voices concerns over US forced labor tariffs, discusses trade pacts
India has expressed that the U.S. approach to imposing tariffs over forced labor concerns is inconsistent. The U.S. initiated investigations into 60 economies, including India, over forced labor and industrial capacity issues. Meanwhile, India is also engaged in discussions and reviews of trade agreements with ASEAN and the EU, aiming to boost economic ties and address trade deficits.
