Bihar Cabinet Approves AIIMS Expansion, Rapid Train Corridors
The Bihar Cabinet approved 22 proposals, including the expansion of AIIMS Patna and the development of regional rapid transit system corridors. For AIIMS expansion, 26.76 acres of land acquisition was sanctioned. The cabinet also approved the formation of BAIDCL for fisheries development and the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for four major rapid train corridors connecting cities like Patna, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur.
