Allahabad HC: Family courts can declare undisputed private talaq

The Allahabad High Court has ruled that family courts have the authority to declare a divorce even if a talaq was pronounced privately by a Muslim husband, provided the wife does not dispute the talaq. The court stated that such declarations fall within the purview of family court powers. This ruling came in a case where a husband pronounced talaq and the wife acknowledged receiving the notices without dispute.
