INS Mahendragiri, a stealth frigate, commissioned into Indian Navy
The Indian Navy has commissioned INS Mahendragiri, the sixth Project 17A indigenous stealth frigate, into its Eastern Fleet in Visakhapatnam. Built with indigenous technology, the warship is equipped with advanced systems and is designed to be difficult to track. Its induction is seen as a boost to India's maritime strength and the 'Make in India' initiative.
