Karnataka Minister's Incognito Bus Inspection Reveals Lapses
Karnataka Transport Minister Byrathi Suresh conducted a surprise inspection of BMTC bus services by travelling incognito. During his journeys, he observed staff dereliction of duty and also experienced issues himself, including a conductor asking him to leave the bus for not having exact change and an auto-rickshaw driver overcharging. The minister ordered action against negligent staff following these observations.
