A moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred in the Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh. The earthquake originated at a depth of 10 km and its epicentre was located at 16.805° N, 84.381° E. Mild tremors were felt in parts of Visakhapatnam and nearby Andhra districts.
