Punjab Sarpanches' Monthly Salary Increased to Rs 10,000
The Punjab government has announced an increase in the monthly salary for sarpanches (village heads) to Rs 10,000. This decision, made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is set to take effect from August 15. The announcement was also acknowledged by Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal.
