Five drown in Kaveri River while taking photos; Odisha blast kills one
In separate incidents, five members of a family drowned in the Kaveri River in Karnataka while attempting to take photographs. Separately, an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Ganjam, Odisha, resulted in one death. Both events were reported by Hindi media outlets.
