Supreme Court questions CBSE's third language policy for Class 9
The Supreme Court has raised concerns about the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) policy of introducing a third language from Class 9. The court suggested that the language should be introduced earlier, from Class 6, to alleviate stress on students preparing for board exams. The Centre, CBSE, and NCERT have been asked to respond to petitions challenging the policy.
