India sees record real estate inflows and rising forex reserves

India's real estate sector has recorded significant equity capital inflows, reaching a record $8.5 billion in the first half of 2025, driven by acquisitions of land and office assets. This growth is supported by strong domestic investor conviction and sustained interest from various capital market players. Concurrently, India's foreign exchange reserves have seen a notable increase, rising to over $675 billion, with some reports attributing foreign investor inflows to government and RBI measures aimed at supporting the rupee.
