Hungary's President Signs Law Ending His Term

Hungary's President Tamás Sulyok has signed a constitutional amendment that officially ends his term in office. The amendment, passed by the ruling party, cited a 'serious loss of confidence' in the president. The speaker of Parliament will assume presidential duties until a new president is elected within 30 days.
