Samsung cuts US jobs during Texas headquarters relocation
Samsung Electronics America is cutting approximately 800 jobs as it relocates its U.S. consumer electronics headquarters from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, to Texas. The company informed Reuters that 739 specific roles were impacted by this move. Samsung has offered affected employees relocation assistance.
