Over 84,000 names deleted from voter lists in three regions

In the third phase of the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of electoral rolls, over 84,000 names were deleted from voter lists in three regions, including two states and one Union Territory. The deletions were reportedly made for reasons categorized as 'other'. This action by the Election Commission has reportedly caused concern in the affected areas.
