Police Disperse Ken-Betwa Project Protesters in Madhya Pradesh

Police in Madhya Pradesh dispersed protesters demonstrating against the Ken-Betwa River Interlinking Project. The agitation, which lasted between 14 and 17 days, involved villagers and tribal groups. In one instance, a fasting activist was shifted to a hospital. Separately, in Mumbai, actor Ayesha Khan was detained by police during a protest, and other protesters were reportedly dragged and detained.
