Consumer Body Acts Against 41 Restaurants Over Service Charges
India's consumer protection authority has taken action against 41 restaurants for illegally levying service charges without customer consent. The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) initiated action, with some outlets also ordered to refund charges to consumers.
