IndiGo orders over 1,000 aircraft engines from CFM International
Indian airline IndiGo has signed a memorandum of understanding with CFM International to purchase over 1,000 LEAP-1A engines. The deal, announced at the Farnborough Airshow, is intended to power IndiGo's Airbus A320neo family aircraft. CFM International will also establish a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility. Additionally, IndiGo has selected Honeywell Aerospace to provide avionics and power systems for 810 new Airbus jets.
