Gujarat Destroys Over ₹2,200 Crore Worth of Seized Drugs
Gujarat authorities destroyed seized drugs valued at approximately ₹2,153 crore to ₹2,212 crore. The Gujarat Police stated this action dealt a significant blow to international drug smuggling networks. In connection with drug seizures and destruction, 877 cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act were registered in Gujarat. The Gujarat Home Minister, Harsh Sanghavi, commented on the decisive action against drug mafias.
