India Commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas, Defence Minister Visits Ladakh
India observed Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, marking 27 years since Operation Vijay. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Ladakh to pay tribute to soldiers who died in the 1999 Kargil War. He stated that the enemy's intentions remain unchanged and proxy war is still a challenge. Various events were held across the country, including in Drass, Srinagar, and Jaipur, with veterans sharing their experiences and defence exhibitions being organized.
