Anahat Singh becomes first Indian to win World Junior Squash Championship
Anahat Singh, ranked World No. 20 and the top seed, has become the first Indian to win the World Junior Squash Championship. She defeated Egypt's World No. 2 Ruqayya in the final held in New Delhi with a score of 11-3, 11-7, and 11-9. Her victory ends a 21-year drought for India in the sport and breaks Egypt's 15-year dominance in the event.
