Indian companies report mixed Q1 FY27 financial results

Several Indian companies have released their financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. Ratnaveer Precision Engineering reported a 20% revenue growth and 21% profit after tax growth. Smartworks turned profitable with a 44% revenue jump, and United Spirits Ltd saw increased volumes. Eternal reported a 268% jump in consolidated profit to ₹92 Crore, driven by Blinkit, while Induslnd Bank posted a 47% rise in net profit to ₹1,000 Crore. Separately, Indian refiners are reportedly aiding Russia's oil exporters, and Volkswagen is nearing a stake sale in its India unit to JSW Group.
