Supreme Court Bans Recording, Sharing of Court Proceedings
The Supreme Court has prohibited the posting, re-posting, and uploading of audio-video recordings of judicial proceedings. The court stated that courts cannot function as a "24x7 entertainment channel." This order restricts the sharing of such recordings without prior permission. The court is also reconsidering its livestreaming policy and has requested reports from relevant parties.
