Sonam Wangchuk Moved to Private Hospital After Court Order

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was moved to a private hospital after the Delhi High Court ordered his transfer from Safdarjung Hospital. The court stated the Centre raised no objection to the move. Wangchuk's wife questioned police presence at the private hospital, asking under what authority it was present if he was not under detention. Wangchuk had alleged harassment at Safdarjung Hospital, a claim the hospital denied, stating a video of the incident was recorded by an aide before the court's order. Wangchuk continues his fast, refusing IV fluids, and has stated his health is stable.
