Uttar Pradesh Police Kill Notorious Gang Member in Encounter
In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, police and the Meerut STF engaged in a shootout with Vipul alias 'Khooni', a wanted sharpshooter with a ₹50,000 bounty. Vipul, associated with the Sushil Moanch gang, was wanted in 38 cases including murder, robbery, extortion, and gangster charges. The encounter occurred near a irrigation department bungalow on the Saidbhar road. Police recovered two pistols, ammunition, and a motorcycle from the scene.
