Samsung Electronics Secures Major AI Chip Partnerships

Samsung Electronics has secured partnerships with U.S. chip designer Broadcom and South Korean chipmakers SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics are set to supply U.S. firms in deals reportedly worth up to $200 billion and $950 billion respectively. These agreements aim to widen cooperation across memory chips, contract chip making, and advanced packaging. The partnerships come amid global market pressure on semiconductor stocks due to concerns about Chinese competition and the funding of the AI boom. Separately, China's commerce ministry accused U.S. AI firms of using Chinese models in their development processes.
