Supreme Court Orders New SIT for Offering Theft Case

The Supreme Court has ordered the formation of a new Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe a case involving the theft of offerings. The Uttar Pradesh government is set to propose three IPS officers' names to the court for the new SIT. Previously, the state government had formed an SIT, leading to an FIR and arrests in the case.
