Delhi Teacher on Election Duty Dies of Heart Attack
A Delhi teacher, identified as a presiding officer for the Lok Sabha elections, died of a heart attack on May 17. The teacher's family alleged that stress related to the election duty contributed to the death. The teacher was reportedly assigned to the "Special Invigilation Room" (SIR) duty.
