ED raids online betting and investment fraud network, freezes bank accounts

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the offices of RummyTime and Gameskraft on February 20, freezing their bank accounts under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The ED alleged that both companies were involved in online betting and investment fraud. Police claimed that the raid was part of a larger operation to crack down on financial crimes. The government said it was taking action against those who used online platforms for illicit activities. RummyTime and Gameskraft denied any wrongdoing, saying they were legitimate businesses operating within the law.
