Wildfires Force Hundreds of Thousands to Evacuate Southern Europe
Wildfires in southern Europe, particularly in France and Spain, have forced over 250,000 people to evacuate their homes. In Spain, one man died in Manises due to the blazes, and the country declared a national emergency as fires spread. France also saw significant evacuations, with nearly 200,000 people fleeing their homes in the southwest, including near Bordeaux. Hundreds of acres of forest have been consumed by the fires.
