Rahul Gandhi detained during protest outside PM residence
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was detained by police outside the Prime Minister's residence during a protest. Gandhi alleged that the government was crushing students' protests and demanded apologies and resignations from the Prime Minister and Home Minister. He stated the protest was staged because there was no debate from the government. Visuals showed Gandhi being dragged and having a bleeding nose. The protests, which also involved youngsters at Jantar Mantar regarding the NEET exam, spread to other opposition parties. The Aam Aadmi Party criticized the Congress sit-in, claiming collusion with the BJP.
