Two Dead in Greater Noida STP Tank Cleaning Incident
Two individuals died on Saturday night in Greater Noida's Eldeco Society, Sector-150, due to asphyxiation from toxic gas inside an STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) tank. The incident occurred while the tank was being cleaned. One person descended into the tank, and when they did not return, a security guard entered, subsequently also succumbing. Rescue teams arrived but could not save them. The contractor has been arrested.
